During the third day we went with our group to five different stations, to see more about our water sources in Dayton. When we went to the River Mobile we got too see the maps of all Ohio that showed all the rivers and major towns. We went inside to hear David Lawrence, Rachel Easter and Darius Hixon. They all talked about what they do, how they do it and why they like what they do. We walked outside to learn about how they separate the toxic waste from the rivers. We learned where are water comes from and why it is really clean. We learned the importance of water. Understanding where water comes from is a big idea of making our place better for not just for the river, but for the Ohio river and the Mississippi river. After that we learned about ho they use droids in order to go through pipes to see whats wrong. This helps out a lot seeing that people can't go through tiny pipes.
Water poem
This is the river, vast and strong.
This is the rain, shiny and feeding into the river
These are the trees, tall, detailed, and lining the river.
These are the plants, small and green, rooted next to the trees.
These are the rocks, hard and smooth
This is the river, vast and strong
